TAMILNADU HAJ ORGANISERS ASSOCIATION was established in the year 1998 at Chennai. The aim and object for bringing such body into being was to face those day-to-day hardships and impediments unitedly which were being confronted by the private tour organisers. As this association came into existence, its registration was done under section 25 of the Company Act, 1956, which has non profit making organisation. The process of the association's registration was completed on the 10th March 1998.
Our Mission
The Association is also recognized for its operations by the Ministry of External Affairs, Haj Cell since 2002 as also now with the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Haj Division, Government of India.
Our Vision
Accordingly, a high level delegation is constituted for the purpose and includes one member from registered Associations. The said Agreement is then executed at Saudi Arabia.
Our History
"TAMILNADU HAJ ORGANISERS ASSOCIATION" was established at Chennai in the year 1998, for the benefit of those Tamilnadu Haj Pilgrims who wanted to perform Haj without any help, aid or subsidy and/or of any kind from the Government. Its member PTOs and was to assist the Pilgrims who needed tailor made quick, short trips, including better lodging and boarding facilities throughout during their entire pilgrimage with special facilities in Mina since 1980s.
